This past week I was able to make the cutest little monkey cake for "Baby's 1st Birthday"
I enjoyed the creativity the family allowed me to have with making the Palm tree's and Monkey's Dance. Take a Look!

Alice in Wonderland

Well Shall I just start off by saying that I took First place at the Oklahoma Sugar Art Show for this cake. And here is the background story... I Dreamed this cake. I Dream my best cakes. But this one was special. However it was my first year back to the Oklahoma Sugar Art show after being Sick the year before. I had decided to do 2 cakes early on. As time drew closer to the competition I started to feel overwhelmed and thought about dropping out of this division. Then Came my daughter Aubry to the rescue. Aubry (my Middle Child) has always loved Alice in Wonderland. It was her favorite Disney movie growing up, and she kept saying that this cake was dedicated to her for all the Times I've missed her birthday. (Too many to count. :P) So I decided to do it, and Lookey there! 1st Place! I texted my Daughter Aubry Immediately and when I told her she Gloated with Pride saying "And you weren't gonna do my cake! Did you say that it was dedicated to me?!" So here is the Finished product and some zoomed in photos. Enjoy!
